Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Repairman to ensure smooth cement terminal operations. You will maintain terminal equipment, repair gear, and support unloading and loading activities for various transportation modes.

Some weekend and night work may be required to meet port schedules. Applicants should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of maintenance or terminal experience, plus basic computer skills and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes or logistics is preferred.
• Demonstrates welding, machine repair and basic electricity skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse and yard as required.
• Load/unload material for rail, waterway and road transport per location needs.
• Operate truck loading equipment and perform maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Record receipts, shipments and inventory per guidelines.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Terminal Maintenance Repairman safely ensures and uninterrupted and smooth flow of cement to thecustomer. This is accomplished by properly maintaining terminal equipment and accurately repairing broken
equipment.This position may have occasional weekend and night work to unload vessels when they arrive in port or toperform maintenance that cannot be completed during normal business hours.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and roadmethods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location.
• Understand and operate truck loading equipment.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanicalmaintenance.
• Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment.
• Perform detailed maintenance and repairs on terminal equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Perform thorough preventive / predictive maintenance on all terminal equipment
• Quickly and accurately repair any equipment that breaks down
• Load each truck without spillage and in a timely manner: complete each load to the customer'sspecifications within legal limits
• Perform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipmentsand inventory records
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Work Experience

1-3 years maintenance / Terminal experience

Required Computer and Software Skills

Basc knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP

Additional Requirements

• Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance. Agood understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process or logistics is preferred.Demonstrates technical skills in Welding , Machine repair, and Basic Electricity
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved
  Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicablelaw, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealmeets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
