Job summary

nexAir, LLC is seeking a service technician to repair electric and gas drive welding equipment in Memphis, TN. You will diagnose and repair MIG, TIG, STICK and PLASMA CUTTERS, and work with high voltages up to 440 VAC and 900 VDC, ensuring safe operation.

The role requires post-secondary education or a year of technical training, 1-3+ years electrical/mechanical experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to attend service training to stay current with warranty tech.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education equivalent to a one year Technical College or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of related electrical and mechanical experience.
• Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding application and equipment is an asset.
• Strong electrical and mechanical background preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work in a shop environment
• No welding skills required.
