Aerzen USA Corp. in Benicia, CA is seeking a skilled technician to disassemble and evaluate blowers and compressors, diagnose issues, perform repairs, document findings and communicate actions to customers. You will read diagrams, work with Aerzen products, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) required.
• 1–3 years experience in mechanical/rotating equipment repair.
• Welding and forklift certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and evaluate incoming blower, compressors and other Aerzen products, diagnose and recommend action, complete machine repairs, prepare reports and communicate actions as needed.
• Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage, diagnose cause of damage, identify root cause of failure and recommend further actions needed for repair.
• Demonstrate and utilize good mechanical skills, an understanding of rotating equipment and knowledge of proper and safe usage of mechanic’s tools and shop equipment.
• Identify Aerzen products and understand their use for a various customer application.
• Assemble Aerzen Products per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision and quality.
• Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other process documentation to repair per Aerzen standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare a written repair report to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to customer.
• Ability to travel 10-20% as needed for training and customers.
