Job summary

A leading technology firm in Washington, DC is seeking a QA Staff member to support the QA Department through data gathering, audits, and reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and experience in a GMP environment. This full-time position offers a pay range of $12.00 – $14.00 per hour, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office.
• 1 year of GMP experience preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform data gathering to support the QA Department.
• Manage paper audits as assigned by the QA Department.
• Report metrics in area of responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities

In conjunction with other members of the QA Staff and/or Management:

• Perform data gathering to support QA Department
• Manage paper audits as assigned by the QA Department
• Perform tasks associated with QA functions as assigned by QA Manager
• Complete tasks associated with responses to supplier notifications
• Report metrics in area of responsibility

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Associates Degree or higher – Preferred
• 0-2 years of experience
• At least 1 year of GMP experience or other regulated industry preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
