Job summary

West Side Beer Distributing in Lansing, MI is hiring for a Repack Clerk to support our warehouse team. In this part-time role, you will sort and repack damaged products, return items to sellable inventory, and help with recycling tasks while following safety procedures.

Starting wage is $18.50 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule 7am to 3:30pm. No experience required as we provide full training; a high school diploma or GED is required and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sort and repack damaged products to return them to sellable inventory.
• Transfer cardboard, bottles, and other materials for recycling.
• Safely operate balers and related recycling equipment.
• Use manual pallet jacks to move products and materials.
• Rotate product following code dates and supplier/company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate daily repack and breakage records.
• Keep work areas clean and clear of debris or broken glass.
• Report accidents or incidents and follow all safety procedures.
• Follow all supervisor instructions, company policies, and OSHA safety rules.

About the Role

In this part-time role, you’ll help process damaged product by sorting, repacking, and preparing items to return to sellable inventory. You'll also handle recycling tasks, operate basic warehouse equipment, and maintain accurate repack records. This position requires attention to safety, organization, and following established procedures to keep the repack area running smoothly.
