Ryder System, Inc. is looking for a Rental Manager Trainee in Grand Prairie, TX. This fast-paced program touches operations, sales, and management with an 18–24 month path, possible to finish in 12 months based on performance. You’ll support location and regional management through varied tasks and on-call duties as needed.

You’ll gain industry knowledge, build relationships, and be positioned for internal advancement. The role includes structured weeks, OT, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field.
• 1+ year of customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and processing for inbound calls and outbound solicitation.
• Maintain current and accurate data in the marketing database.
• Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
• Manage rental asset processes including vehicle PM and cleanliness.

Job Summary

This program is fast-paced and touches every aspect of the business unit. In this role, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills and resources to develop your relationship building. We allow you to carve out your own career path and promote from within, based on performance. Though this program is designed to be completed in 18-24 months, there is opportunity to complete it in as little as 12 months. The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management. Essential Functions

• Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
• Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle Pm and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.
• Performes other duties as assigned.
