Job summary

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Wichita is seeking a sales and rental agent in Wichita, KS. Our team is collaborative and rewards individual contribution, with potential earnings beyond base pay after commission.

Hours are 7am–6pm, seven days a week. Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining charges, handling vehicle exchanges, checking for damages, and providing receipts while maintaining policy knowledge and supporting the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Professional communication skills required.
• Problem resolution experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers using standard dialogue.
• Address inquiries such as charges, damages, directions, etc.
• Perform vehicle exchanges and extensions.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for new damage and report it.
• Scan returning vehicles back into the system and provide receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, pricing and promotions.
• Support a team environment and assist other agents when needed.

We have an opening for a sales and rental agent on our Budget team in Wichita, KS. Budget's work environment is collaborative and team oriented with a high emphasis on rewarding individual contribution as well. Our sales representatives at can earn from $15-$18/HR, or more, after commission.

Hours of Availability: 7am-6pm, M-Sun.

Job Duties

Full Time and Part Time

• Greet customers using standard dialogue
• Address customer inquiries, such as explanation of charges, vehicle damages, directions, etc.
• Perform vehicle exchanges and extensions
• Inspect incoming vehicles for new damage
• Report damages to on-duty supervisor
• Scan returning vehicles back into system
• Provide computerized receipt to customer
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to the guidelines on all company policies and procedures, new training information, pricing and promotions etc.
• Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Professional communication skills
• Problem resolution experience
• Minimum age of 18
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
