Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Rental Field Technician I to perform high quality repair service on equipment, ensuring value for the work performed and timely responses to customer needs.

The role involves completing jobs within standard times, performing disassembly/assembly, testing repairs, and providing quotes. Strong attention to safety, licensing readiness, and ability to mentor peers are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to obtain required licenses/certifications.
• Able to mentor Rental team members.
• Must have or obtain adequate tooling.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases accurately.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust assemblies.
• Provide information to management for quoting.
• Diagnose/troubleshoot problems and make repairs.
• Test/verify correct operation of repairs.
• Apply general failure analysis to diagnose issues.
