Job summary

Mustang Cat is seeking Rental Equipment Technicians/Mechan Mechanics for both Shop Service and Field Service roles to maintain and repair our fleet of rental equipment. You own the necessary tools and bring a solid background in diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus troubleshooting skills.

Qualifying candidates may have associate certificates; the company highlights growth opportunities, competitive benefits, and paid time off as part of a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous mechanic work or military experience.
• Understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Mustang's fleet of rental equipment.

Position Requirements

• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous mechanic work or military experience.
• Understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs.

Additional Experience Strongly Preferred

• Associate’s degree or certificate from a technical school.
• Mechanic experience on heavy and light construction equipment.
• Mechanic experience on aerial and man lift equipment.
• Technical experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.
• Welding experience.

Levels and Compensation

Rental Equipment Technician/Mechanic levels and compensation rates are determined by skill set, knowledge, and experience.
