Wagner Equipment Co. in Colorado is seeking a Rental Equipment Sales Representative to generate revenue through renting CAT and allied equipment and selling Wagner Rents services within a defined territory.

You will meet or exceed monthly revenue targets, develop new accounts, maintain product knowledge, and collaborate with field personnel to deliver exceptional customer service. This on-site role offers a base salary with commission and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years sales experience in heavy or rental equipment preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare daily sales calls and progress reports.
• Develop weekly sales forecasts and manage expenses.
• Interface with field personnel to support sales responsibilities.

The Rental Equipment Sales Representative’s primary purpose is to generate revenue by renting CAT & allied equipment, selling of non-hour metered allied equipment and merchandise, and selling Wagner Rents equipment service capabilities in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” The Rental Sales Rep is responsible for developing and enhancing sales coverage within a designated territory consistent with the Wagner Rents customer satisfaction philosophy. Must meet or exceed monthly budgeted rental revenue, consumable revenue, and growth of territory market share goals.

Pay Rate: Base Salary + CommissionPay is based upon education and experience.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares daily sales calls/progress reports documentation
• Develops weekly sales forecastsManages business related expenses
• Effectively interfaces with other Wagner field personnel and departments as they affect sales responsibilities
• Responds to customer calls at all times of the day and night
• Researches new leads and sales prospects
• Conducts face to face cold calls to prospective customers and develops new accounts within the designated territory
• Services current rental and sales customers’ needs
• Maintains current knowledge on all products and services for sale and rent by Wagner Rents
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some College or Trade School Preferred
• 10+ years sales experience in the heavy or rental equipment industry
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
• 3+ years customer service experience
• 3+ years sales experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

• Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
• Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
• Safety & Product Knowledge
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
• Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
