Job summary

Red-D-Arc Inc. in Rosedale, MD is seeking a Rental Coordinator to support daily branch operations and ensure rental equipment is available for orders.

You will handle high-volume calls and emails, provide excellent customer service, and coordinate with Outside Sales and the service department to fulfill orders and manage equipment shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Associate degree preferred; experience in industrial/rental environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment according to health and safety guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service to all accounts.
• Provides follow-up to leads generated via Web, associations, and other channels.
• Handles customer requests with timely follow-up.
• Manages walk-in customers and equipment returns efficiently.
• Processes credit card charges.
• Communicates daily with Outside Sales Associate regarding inquiries and orders.
• Prepares quotes for outside sales and transmits to clients as required.
• Coordinates equipment requirements for efficient order fulfillment and cost containment.
• Plans and directs customer orders with the service department.
• Coordinates shipments with service/shopt and arranges orders for shipment.
• Ensures proper generation of rental agreements and related documents.

We are looking for you!

• Monday - Friday 7:30 Am to 4:30 Pm
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service
• Answer High Volume phone calls and emails.
• Pay Range $24-26 per hour plus bonus

Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the incumbent assists with the daily operations of the branch and ensures rental equipment is available for orders.

Essential Functions

• Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc's health and safety guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service to all accounts.
• Provides follow-up to leads that are sent to the area via Web, Associations.
• Provides timely follow-up to customer's requests.
• Ensures walk in customers are handled in a timely manner including equipment returns
• Processes credit card charges.
• Communicates daily with Outside Sales Associate on inquiries and/or orders received.
• Prepares quotes for outside sales and fax to clients as required.
• Coordinates equipment requirements for efficient order fulfillment and cost containment.
• Plans and directs customer orders with the service department.
• Communicates with the service department and/or shop supervisor in regards to equipment shipments and arranges orders for shipment
• Ensures proper generation of rental agreements and associated documents

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Minimum two (2) years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Greater than three years of customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Customer service in an industrial/rental environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding applications and equipment is an asset.
