Job summary

Green Valley Construction Texas in Houston is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The role focuses on keeping properties well-maintained, making units move-in ready, and handling resident service requests promptly and professionally.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM with alternating weekends, and you will perform make-ready tasks and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required (property management preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues proactively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform “make-ready” duties to prepare units for new residents.
• Handle move-out repairs and ensure units meet company standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
• Identify and report any major repairs or safety concerns.
• Work closely with property management team to meet deadlines and expectations.
