Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Car Cleaner to maintain rental vehicles at the DFW Airport area near Irving, TX. You will vacuum, clean windows, wipe interiors, and use air fresheners to ensure a fresh, road-ready car.

This on-site role runs 2 pm–10 pm, Saturday through Wednesday (off Thursday and Friday) with a $14 per hour wage and weekly pay. No formal education required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains rental cars by vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down interior and utilizing air freshener.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners in order to prevent damage.
• May remove stains from carpet and other interior surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Drives vehicles while in the course of performing cleaning work.
• Notify management concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to facility.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

Shift: 2 pm to 10 pm, Saturday - Wednesday (off Thursday and Friday)
