What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Identify, research, prospect, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects
2. Handle all initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of energy projects, including RFP responses
3. Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for renewable and energy storage projects
4. Support development activities for new and ongoing utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects, focusing on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, LNG, or natural gas with IPPs/Developers/Owners
2. Extensive hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts in the renewables or energy storage sectors
3. Solid understanding of the RFP/RFI process related to project development
4. Proficient in project siting, permitting, prospecting, and due diligence for renewable projects
5. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience with energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage projects
2. Familiarity with land negotiations and support of project financing initiatives
