The Andersons, Inc. in Denison, IA is seeking a Renewables Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations.
In this role you will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and use CMMS to track tasks and inventory while upholding a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The Renewables Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This role leads preventive and corrective maintenance activities, responds to critical equipment issues, and utilizes expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and improve performance. The technician also manages maintenance programs through CMMS, supports inventory and work order tracking, and promotes a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a hands‑on problem solver who enjoys diagnosing complex equipment issues, working in a fast‑paced industrial environment, and taking ownership of reliability, safety, and operational excellence.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
1-3 years’ relevant experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical theory and technical skills, including the proficient use of appropriate tools, materials, and diagnostic equipment such as voltage meters, megohmmeters (meggers), and ammeters.
