Hedging & Risk mission:

You will work alongside the NORAM Hedging & Risk team. In this role, you will help map operating and development risks, determine how to mitigate these risks, and implement solutions. You will also monitor various power markets, benchmark trading performance, and identify opportunities to optimize revenues for Renewables and Battery Storage projects.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in data science, mathematics, finance, engineering, economics, or related quantitative discipline
• 0 to 2 years of experience including internships

Skills

• Interest in the energy industry, with a particular focus in trends of power markets, and growth of renewable energy and battery storage
• Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize complex data, identify key trends and risks, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) and data platforms to automate workflows, analyze large datasets, and support risk management, trading, and commercial decision-making
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex analytical projects, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results within established timelines
• Fluency in Local Language, English is mandatory; additional local languages are a strong asset

Program Structure (24 months)

• Mission 1: 9-12-month A first local immersion tailored to your background and business needs
• Mission 2: 6-month Second assignment abroad in one of ENGIE's R&F geographies (e.g., South Africa, Chile, UK, India, Australia, or Paris.) Exposure to cross cultural teams and new operational realities
• Mission 3: 9-month A consolidation local mission designed to deepen expertise and HSE/Digital etc. to prepare for the landing role. Focus on business contribution, autonomy, and ability to manage small projects or workstreams

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy; and is not eligible for remote work
• Must be available to travel domestically and internationally

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
