Job summary

Tampa Electric Company is seeking Project Manager I-III to lead renewable energy capital projects in Florida. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls while coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and teamwork. Experience with large EPC projects and safety programs is highly desirable; PMP/PE preferred. On-site work in Tampa with regular travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business/Construction/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in utility industry focusing on scheduling, budgeting, cost controls and contract negotiations.
• PMP/PE certifications preferred; willingness to expand supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and startup of renewable energy capital projects.
• Ensure Contractor Safety Management Program adherence and ISN rating reviews.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and management.
