Tyson Foods is seeking a Rendering Operator Level 1 for the 2nd shift (United States of America) to support daily rendering operations by assisting with utility and material-handling tasks that keep production moving safely and efficiently.
You may unload trailers, clean work areas, and operate forklifts while maintaining high housekeeping standards and strong adherence to safety protocols in varied environments.
The Rendering Operator Level 1 is an entry level role in supporting daily rendering operations by assisting with essential utility and material‑handling tasks that keep production moving efficiently. This position helps maintain consistent workflow across the department by supporting equipment operators, ensuring trailers and materials are moved and prepared as needed, and contributing to overall cleanliness and organization within work areas. The role is integral to keeping the rendering process safe, steady, and productive by providing reliable support wherever needed and helping maintain the conditions required for smooth plant operations.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must have at least 6 months of continuous employment in the last 2 years. Prefer 3 consecutive months operator experience within the last 2 years.
