Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a registered dietitian to provide nutritional services for in-center and home dialysis patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support QEP and QAI initiatives and to implement individualized care plans.

You will assess patients’ knowledge of kidney disease, deliver tailored nutrition education, monitor labs and weight, document progress, and coordinate with case managers and physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current licensure in the applicable state.
• Minimum 1 year professional experience in clinical nutrition; renal experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to teach and counsel patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional services for in-center and home dialysis patients.
• Educate patients about kidney disease, diet, fluid management, and lab results.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor, document, and adjust nutrition therapy to achieve goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers; participate in QAI and QEP activities.
