What You’ll be Doing…

• Writing clever, warm, and welcoming short-form copy for blog posts, newsletters, and social media
• Designing sleek, on-brand visuals for:
• Reports, PowerPoint presentations, and grant proposals
• Website updates, social media posts, blog and newsletter templates, and flyers
• Enhancing photos taken at events using filters, color correction, and layout polish to make them social-media ready
• Applying consistent brand standards across all content, including third-party pieces, to ensure a cohesive visual identity

Here’s what your work history needs to show as evidence that you’re the right candidate…

• A creative communicator who’s just as strong with words as they are with design
• Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop required; bonus points if you’ve got experience with PowerPoint, video editing tools, or other creative platforms
• A self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable working independently
• Flexibility and adaptability—you're someone who can thrive even when systems and processes are still being built
• A strong portfolio that showcases both writing and design skills (required)—especially visual content that elevates everyday event photos using Canva templates, stock imagery, and creative editing

Here’s the important details:

· Location : Remote – Must reside in Washington State

· Pay Rate: $29-$43 per hour

· Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

· Assignment Type : Temp-to-Hire

· Training : Will take place virtually on Microsoft Teams

· Compliance : You must be able to pass a criminal background check
