Job summary

Abramson Labor Group is seeking an experienced Trial Representative for its Workers' Compensation practice. The role, based in Riverside County vicinity and serving the Los Angeles area, focuses on trial appearances, settlements, QME evaluations, and preparing settlement documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in workers' compensation litigation and be capable of coordinating with internal attorneys and staff to ensure effective case preparation and client advocacy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workers' Compensation litigation and trial appearances.
• Ability to negotiate settlements and prepare settlement documentation.
• Familiarity with QME/AME reports and trial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare files for trial including client preparation, strike process, and filing pleadings.
• Represent clients at Workers' Compensation trials and hearings in the Los Angeles area.
• Review QME/AME reports to determine case strategy and trial readiness.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and defense representatives.
• Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and staff to ensure thorough trial preparation and advocacy.
• Maintain detailed records of case activities, outcomes, and negotiations.
• Provide strategic guidance based on trial results and trends.
