Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative to analyze and adjudicate claims for our valued clients. Primary jurisdiction is Indiana with some Ohio work, in a hybrid setting that supports remote work where appropriate.

You will leverage industry knowledge to resolve complex claims, negotiate settlements within authority, and coordinate with clients and claimants to ensure timely, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due, with timely adjudication according to client service requirements.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to excess carrier and responding to directions in a professional and timely manner.
