U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Texas is seeking a Fish and Wildlife Biologist to work in Nacogdoches. The role focuses on conservation of eastern Texas species, including endangered and at-risk fauna and flora, and coordination with multiple partners. Office location is in Nacogdoches, TX.

The position involves ESA/NEPA work, consultations under section 7, and development of conservation agreements under section 10, with telework eligibility.

• Collaborate with state and Federal partners on eastern Texas conservation issues.
• Serve as an agency expert on threatened, endangered, and at‑risk species in east Texas.
• Provide technical assistance on ESA, NEPA, and other wildlife laws.
• Administer Endangered Species Act activities, including consultations and conferences.
• Coordinate landscape-scale recovery projects with multiple partners and agencies.
