Vera Whole Health is seeking a proactive NBC-HWC to deliver personalized, evidence-based virtual coaching, collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to enhance health outcomes. The role focuses on weight management and behavior change, delivered through 1-on-1 sessions and group workshops.

Qualifications

• National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach credential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Psychology, or related field.
• 2+ years of health coaching experience in clinical/digital health.
• Must be bilingual English/Spanish or multilingual.
• Experience with weight management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-minute, personalized 1-on-1 coaching sessions using motivational interviewing and evidence-based behavior change strategies.
• Facilitate engaging group coaching sessions and workshops to expand support networks.
• Provide ongoing accountability and adapt strategies to drive long-term success.
• Maintain clinical documentation and provide customized care plans.
• Collaborate with care managers, dietitians, and providers in weight management programs.
• Connect members with digital health tools, benefits, and community resources.
