Wynd Labs is building infrastructure to deliver vast amounts of web data powering AI models, including Grass crawler and data pipelines for videos, transcripts and audio. We are seeking a Web Scraping Specialist to lead data extraction efforts, optimize scraping workflows, and support scalable data collection.

The role is fully remote and rewards hands-on coding in Python/JavaScript, with a strong portfolio of complex site extractions using BeautifulSoup, Scrapy or Selenium.

Qualifications

• Ability to extract data from complex websites with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript with libraries like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and distributed scraping.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/DOM and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and refine code to extract data from online sources.
• Handle pagination and dynamic content loaded with AJAX.
• Clean and format extracted data to quality standards.
• Store and manage scraped data in appropriate databases.
• Monitor scraping processes and resolve issues to maintain data flow.
