Job summary

ECS Corporate Services is seeking a Web Developer to support the DHS OCIO with design, development, and maintenance of public facing websites and related applications from a remote setting. The role emphasizes Python frameworks (Django/Flask), HTML, and modern JavaScript technologies, including Angular, React, or Vue.js.

The candidate will work with SharePoint and must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with public speaking capabilities, and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required
• 9+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with high-level military staff briefing and action items
• Excellent writing/briefing skills
• Extensive knowledge of Python and Django/Flask
• Extensive knowledge in HTML, modern JavaScript frameworks including Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Basic knowledge of CSS and frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind
• Ability to support a dynamic, fast-paced government environment
• SharePoint specialist with ability to cross-train on other positions and support surge/contingency
• IAT Level II certification required for DoD 8570 compliance, or ability to complete within 60 days

Responsibilities

• Support all exercise and operational web development requirements
• Provide web expertise to US/Coalition Networks, enabling and enhancing information sharing
• Provide SharePoint development/site content manager skills
• Interact professionally with Government operational representatives
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and public speaking abilities
