Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in data analytics or data science using meteorological data sources.
• Experience in cloud-based environments and processing large datasets.
• Experience moving analytics from development to operations.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process large meteorological datasets (numerical weather prediction, satellite data, weather stations).
• Develop scalable data processing workflows optimizing time and memory.
• Create clear visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Troubleshoot data quality, ingestion pipelines, and processing issues.
• Maintain reusable, well-documented SQL queries and datasets.
• Collaborate with data engineers and SMEs to productionize analytical products.
