Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Vulnerability Analyst for contract work. You will conduct penetration tests on networks, applications, and systems to uncover vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.

You will document findings, communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and guide teams in implementing fixes. This remote, 10-40 hrs/week role pays $30-$90/hour and favors candidates with OSCP/CEH/GPEN or equivalent credentials.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and standard tools.
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Solid understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience in social engineering and physical security assessments preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are highly desirable.
