National Center for LGBTQ Rights (NCLR) is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Administration to lead accounting, budgeting, tax, treasury, IT and risk management while working remotely with the executive team.

The role partners with the President and Board to ensure financial health, provides timely financial reporting, compliance with GAAP and nonprofit regulations, and oversees audits and donor funds.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of nonprofit finance leadership.
• GAAP knowledge and grants management.
• Strategic thinker with strong judgment and communication.
• Commitment to racial and economic equity.

Responsibilities

• Work with the President on organizational fiscal strategy.
• Oversee accounting and internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, tax compliance, audits and reporting.
• Manage treasury, investments, and cash flow.
• Direct, negotiate and manage contracts and risk.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on financial policy.
