Job summary

Savvas Learning Company is seeking a dynamic executive to lead product development for our K–12 Literacy, Supplemental, Assessment & Intervention solutions. You will guide cross-functional teams to shape strategic literacy products aligned with today’s classroom needs.

With 12+ years in curriculum or instructional development, you will drive planning and budgeting, manage editors and vendors, and ensure on-time delivery. Occasional travel is required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in curriculum development and instructional materials with an educational publisher.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Reading, Literacy, Elementary or Secondary Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching experience and knowledge about how children learn.
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborates across stakeholders.
• Willing to travel occasionally as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall product development leadership for the Literacy portfolio (K–12 Literacy, Supplemental, Assessment & Intervention).
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Design, and Technology to develop innovative product models.
• Drive product strategy and oversee planning, budgeting, and development for literacy projects.
• Lead editorial team through all stages to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and alignment with the product vision.
