Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Vice President, Finance Operations (FINOP) to serve as the designated financial and operational principal for the broker-dealer. The role leads regulatory compliance, capital management, and financial reporting while partnering with senior leadership to ensure regulatory adherence and operational effectiveness.

The VP, FINOP will oversee regulatory filings, internal controls, and risk management, coordinating with Compliance, Legal, and Operations

Competenze

• Active Series 27 license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in broker-dealer finance, regulatory reporting, operations, or compliance functions.
• Extensive knowledge of SEC, FINRA, SIPC, and broker-dealer regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing FOCUS reports, net capital computations, reserve calculations, and regulatory filings.
• Experience managing audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.
• Strong analytical, financial, and risk management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Provide regulatory oversight and ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, SIPC, and state requirements.
• Serve as FINOP and oversee Series 27 registrations.
• Prepare and file FOCUS reports and other regulatory filings.
• Monitor net capital, reserve, and liquidity requirements.
• Oversee broker-dealer accounting records and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Advise senior leadership on financial and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure controls.
