Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. is seeking a VP & Controller to lead corporate accounting liaison with field operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and robust internal controls. You will guide month-end closes, budgets, and audits, while developing staff across sites.

The role focuses on financial governance in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment with exposure to multi-site operations and construction project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA a plus and advantageous for the role.
• 7+ years of senior-level finance or accounting experience.
• North American cross-border experience preferred.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for site accounting and related issues.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual closes and forecasted financial information.
• Support construction project teams with financial reporting needs.
• Manage financials for joint ventures (lead and minority positions).
• Maintain internal controls to ensure GAAP/SOX compliance.
