Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. We are seeking a Vice President, Drug Development Services (CNS/Psychiatry) to lead strategic scientific and medical initiatives for CNS and psychiatric programs across development stages.

In this role you will partner with C-suite executives and senior development teams, oversee global Drug Development Services groups, guide protocol design and development planning, and advance client engagements through

Qualifications

MD with CNS specialization in Neurology or Psychiatry.
Progressive leadership experience in drug development across CNS areas.
Experience guiding clinical, regulatory, and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic scientific and medical leadership for CNS/psychiatry programs across Phase I–late-stage development.
Advise senior client stakeholders on protocol design, development planning, endpoints, and program strategy.
Lead multidisciplinary global Drug Development Services teams and foster collaboration and scientific excellence.
Drive integrated drug development solutions including regulatory planning and risk mitigation.
Build relationships with investigators, advisory boards, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
Partner with Business Development to support growth and client engagements.
Represent ICON as an industry thought leader at conferences and in external engagements.
