Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Data Center Virtualization Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on‑premises and hybrid cloud environments. This 100% remote role targets enterprise-scale VMware estates with strong automation and capacity management emphasis.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on VMware experience (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi, vSAN, NSX), plus PowerCLI scripting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years hands-on VMware platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management.
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments.
• Focus on automation and capacity management.
• Support NSX-T/NSX-V networking and vSAN storage policies.
• Manage disaster recovery using SRM.
• Collaborate with teams to run enterprise-scale VMware estate.
