Job summary

Travel for state testing and events is required several times per year, and open eligibility is limited to Michigan residents. Strong communication and data interpretation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Meet MARSE requirements for teachers of scholars with speech and language impairment.
• Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology license.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google apps, email, and internet; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality virtual speech-language therapy to K-12 students in Michigan.
• Conduct assessments and write reports on motor speech, language, literacy, and related areas.
• Develop strengths-based, family-centered treatment plans.
• Ensure MARSE compliance and IEP processes with timelines.
• Deliver speech-language services aligned with IEP goals and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to implement goals and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to families.
