Job summary

TakeProfitTrader is hiring a Video Editor to join our in-house creative team. You’ll edit short- and long-form video for organic social and paid campaigns, delivering content in formats for 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9.

You’ll use AI tools to speed edits, manage multiple projects, and take direction from marketing leads, with deadlines in a high-volume environment. Fully remote in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of professional video editing experience.
• A portfolio or reel of short- and long-form work with clear role notes.
• Experience using AI in editing workflows (e.g., AI transcription, smart reframing).
• Strong understanding of platform specs for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and X.
• Ability to work in a high-volume content environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form video for organic social and paid campaigns.
• Create multiple ad versions with different hooks and CTAs.
• Deliver projects in correct aspect ratios for each placement (9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9).
• Use AI tools daily to speed up the work including transcription, auto-captions, and AI-assisted editing.
• Follow team conventions for project structure, file naming and versioning.
• Take direction from marketing and creative leads and turn revisions around quickly.
• Manage several projects at once and hit deadlines in a high-volume environment.
