Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic is seeking a Full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. This remote-friendly position offers daily clinical exposure, opportunities to grow, and mentorship in a family-oriented clinic.

Responsibilities include assisting with exams, venipuncture, catheter placements, radiology, and anesthesia support. We provide competitive pay with benefits, CE allowance, retirement options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician Certification and practical veterinary experience.
• Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
• Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization techniques.
• Knowledge of pet care and animal anatomy.
• Experience with blood sampling and kennel management.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and veterinary critical care practices.
• Skills in dog training, grooming, and X-ray procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with physical exams and prepare rooms for procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placements, and radiography as needed.
• Assist with anesthesia, dental cleanings, and surgeries.
• Run IDEXX diagnostics and prepare cytology samples.
