Job summary

Seer Interactive is a remote-first digital marketing consultancy hiring a UX Researcher Contractor to lead evaluative and generative research for a range of projects. You will collaborate with senior UX leads to run studies, recruit participants, and synthesize insights that guide UX decisions.

The role offers 15–20 hours per week with potential for part-time or full-time growth. Ideal candidates bring hands-on usability testing, in-depth interviews, and strong analysis to translate findings

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience running evaluative research including moderated and unmoderated usability testing.
• Experience planning and conducting in-depth interviews and other generative research methods.
• Experience managing research logistics: study setup, screener development, and participant recruitment.
• Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies and remote research tools (UserInterviews, PlaybookUX, UXtweak, Outset.ai).
• Strong analytical skills to code qualitative data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple projects for different clients.
• Comfortable working independently within a defined scope and part-time schedule.
• Value rigorous research and validate AI-assisted outputs before client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run research projects across cross-industry clients on B2B and B2C.
• Lead evaluative research including moderated and unmoderated usability studies.
• Conduct generative research such as in-depth interviews to identify user needs and opportunities.
