AMN Healthcare Revenue Cycle is seeking a travel RN Remote Case Manager, Utilization Review for a Minneapolis assignment. The role oversees UR team leadership, medical necessity review, and collaboration with clinicians and payers to ensure proper patient status and care level.

The position requires a BSN, Minnesota RN licensure, and UR experience, with 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week travel assignment. Remote work option included.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSN and RN licensure in Minnesota.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience.
• At least 2 years in utilization review.
• Strong knowledge of medical necessity and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead UR team and manage department budgets and productivity.
• Develop standard work and expectations for UR processes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, admissions, coding, and billing teams.
• Oversee medical necessity screening and patient status determinations.
• Coordinate denial management and appeals with payers.
