Job summary

HM Insurance Group is offering a Spring 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship. This part-time, remote program runs for 12 weeks, starting February 1, 2027, and provides hands-on experience in underwriting and related business areas within the healthcare industry.

Participants will work alongside underwriting professionals to learn evaluation of healthcare products, pricing strategies, financial performance, and risk management practices, while developing analytical and professional skills

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day underwriting activities and support analysis and reporting.
• Participate in projects and programs relevant to underwriting, finance, analytics, and healthcare operations.
• Conduct research to support recommendations and action proposals for business decisions.
