HM Insurance Group is offering a Spring 2027 Undergraduate Internship that is part-time and remote, running for 12 weeks starting February 1, 2027. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and visa sponsorship is not offered at this time.

Interns will gain practical underwriting exposure and develop business, analytical, and professional skills through hands-on training and real-world experience in underwriting, finance, analytics, and healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Full- or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university bachelor’s program.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other constituencies in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services as appropriate to day-to-day objectives; receives guidance and mentoring from senior personnel.
• Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.
• Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the operating unit objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
