World Business Lenders (WBL) is seeking an underwriting professional to assess credit applications for small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. You will review financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow, and build models in Excel to support informed credit decisions.

Join a fully remote team with strong English communication requirements. You will ensure underwriting compliance with internal guidelines and collaborate across departments to optimize loan performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant proficiency.
• 2+ years in underwriting, credit analysis, lending, or banking preferred.
• Experience with financial analysis or structured credit is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Get credit analysis ready to support informed credit recommendations.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow statements for thorough analyses.
• Structure and underwrite complex credit applications within guidelines.
• Create financial models to analyze loan performance and portfolio health.
• Ensure underwriting follows WBL’s guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare underwriting forms and loan approval docs with complete information.
