Job summary

Annotation Academy is seeking a QA Audio Rater to ensure rating quality during the initial phase. You will audit output, catch calibration issues early, and help keep the rating pool accurate. This freelance role starts ASAP and runs for about 10 hours per week, remotely (UK).

You will review outputs, flag miscalibration patterns, and provide clear feedback to raters, with onboarding completed before the production pool goes live.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and consistent judgment.
• Ability to spot miscalibration and provide clear feedback.
• Comfortable working independently during a pilot/early stage.

Responsibilities

• Audit 30% of production output during the Pilot phase.
• Identify and flag miscalibration or inconsistent scoring across raters.
• Provide actionable feedback and corrections to raters.
• Complete onboarding and training before production rollout.
