Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong front‑end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework.
• Proficiency with design/prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams using Git and project tracking tools (Jira/Azure DevOps).
• A portfolio showing UI/UX work from research to delivery.
• Active DoW Secret security clearance or higher; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and interactive UI components.
• Build responsive front‑end components with Angular, React, or Blazor.
• Develop and maintain a design system and style guide for consistency.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and test with assistive technologies.
• Integrate front ends with RESTful APIs with back‑end teams.
• Apply secure coding practices and address security findings.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and demos.
• Write unit/UI tests and document designs and usage guidance.
