Illumination Works LLC is seeking a Remote User Interface (UI) Developer to modernize a front-end application after a UI/UX redesign. The role focuses on secure, responsive interfaces using Java and Angular, while evolving Oracle Forms for compatibility with approved libraries and infrastructure.

The team supports government-approved designs, persona-based workflows, and REST APIs for data retrieval, display, validation, and submission. Collaboration spans Agile delivery and production support.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining UIs with Java and Angular.
• Ability to implement Government-approved UI/UX designs and workflows.
• Experience integrating front-end with backend services via REST APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and RBAC security.
• Experience modernizing Oracle Forms experiences while keeping compatibility.
• Collaboration across UI/UX, data services, backend, QA, cybersecurity, and Government stakeholders.
• Ability to develop unit and integration tests and support bi-weekly releases.
• Proficient with Git and Agile practices.
• Ability to produce maintainable technical documentation.
• US Citizenship and Secret clearance obtainable; drug test and background screen required.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain user interfaces using Java and Angular.
• Implement Government-approved UI/UX designs and workflows.
• Develop reusable UI components and consistent navigation patterns.
• Integrate front-end components with backend services and REST APIs.
• Work within authentication, authorization, and security architecture.
• Modernize Oracle Forms-based experiences while maintaining compatibility.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, data services developers, backend developers, QA engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and Government stakeholders.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests; support regression testing and bi-weekly releases.
• Use Git and participate in Agile code reviews, backlog refinement, and release activities.
• Create maintainable technical documentation and assist with defect resolution and production support needs.
