Job summary

Berklee College of Music seeks a Student Finance Representative for Berklee Online to provide high‑touch financial support to students worldwide. You will handle tuition inquiries, payment plans, billing statements, and account holds, reporting to the Student Finance Lead.

The role emphasizes remote work, strong communication, and data accuracy; requires a college degree and 2+ years of customer service in education or banking. Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and CRM systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful customer service experience in higher education, banking, sales support, or a student accounts/financial aid environment.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and familiarity with higher ed software/CRMs (Workday Student, Salesforce, Colleague).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and a solution‑oriented mindset under deadline pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage high‑volume inbound/outbound calls and emails with urgency and care.
• Guide students, families, and alumni through tuition statements, payment options, balances, holds, refunds, and 1098‑T tax forms.
• Answer inquiries regarding registration, add/drop, refunds, and financial aid options; liaise with related offices as needed.
• Process payments, audits, and collections outreach; support budgeting and student work‑study processes.
