Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Resident Engineer, TS/SCI with Poly, for the Columbia/Fort Meade, MD area. This role is designated as Remote/Teleworker with on-site work at a customer location in Maryland as needed.

The position emphasizes data center networking, Juniper platforms, and network automation. Clearances are required; you will work with customer engineers to resolve issues and deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering design/architecture and support experience in a large data center network.
• Experience with Juniper gear and vendor certifications is a strong plus.
• Automation/DevOps knowledge and tooling exposure are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of a data center network.
• Deep understanding of routing/switching in data center networks (EVPN, MPLS TE, L2/L3 VPN).
• Support Juniper products: QFX, MX, EX, SRX; experience with other vendors is a plus.
• Collaborate with JTAC and customer engineers to resolve issues and implement solutions.
