Job summary

Team Carney seeks a highly skilled Trusted Tester - Level II (Web Tester & Document Remediation) to serve as a technical authority for Section 508 testing across ICT environments. The role requires DHS Trusted Tester v5.0 certification, a bachelor’s degree, and 4+ years ICT experience with 2+ years in web accessibility testing and document remediation (Office and PDF).

You will evaluate VPATs/ACRs, develop test plans, and advise teams on remediating complex 508 defects, while mentoring others

Qualifications

• 4+ years of overall experience in ICT environments.
• 2+ years of dedicated web accessibility testing with DHS Trusted Tester.
• 2+ years testing and remediating documents to 508 standards.
• Proficient using DHS Trusted Tester process and reporting tools.
• Experience auditing VPATs/ACRs during product acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Section 508 web testing using DHS Trusted Tester v5.0+.
• Remediate documents (Office, PDF) to 508 standards.
• Evaluate VPATs and ACRs for accessibility conformance.
• Develop test plans and advise teams on remediation.
• Provide mentoring and guidance for DHS Trusted Tester candidates.
