Qualifications

• Experience with Level 3/4 Facility Trauma Registry abstraction and ATS/ ICD-10 training.
• AAAM Training or AIS 15 Coding Course with annual TQIP Education is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and familiarity with multiple EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply specialized clinical knowledge to categorize, code, summarize, and interpret registry data from patient medical records.
• Ensure quality submission of all data in specified registries, maintaining high accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
• Navigate electronic medical records and registry tools, troubleshooting technical issues and improving processes.
