Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
• Master's degree or 2 years of power sector experience preferred.
• Experience with power flow and production cost tools (Siemens PSSE, PowerWorld, PROMOD, Dayzer).
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a small team; strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Scope, run and automate studies using power flow models for new and existing BESS projects.
• Assist with scoping and interpretation of third-party power flow studies.
• Produce memos and presentations on transmission upgrade costs.
• Execute production cost model studies to support market theses and price forecasting.
• Identify improvements to short-term price forecasts.
• Build and maintain internal tools and automation for these tasks.
• Other duties as required.
